Why was VSR developed ?

Vendor Stockroom (VSR) was developed to satisfy customer demand for lower costs and increased uptime.
Multiple customers around the globe are all trying to find specialist parts that can be available from a variety of sources.
Vendor stockroom provided the ability to search multiple stock locations and request quotes from potential suppliers right from your desk.

Are all Parts in Stock ? 

While some of customers and suppliers list their “available now” or “surplus” stock, VSR is also a request for quote portal to the vendor community.  The reson is, you need to get a part fast but you also need to know who can supply in future. So, in addition to these immediately avialable parts, we list parts that are normally avialable but might be on a lead time. We understand that other  listing sites exsit but we are positioned as both a listing site and a tendering (reverse auction) system. If you cat finf the part you are looking for we can suggest possible suppliers and contac them to increase the chances of finding your parts.

 We also have developed a system whereby if the part is not found; you can email your need to suppliers of similar products identified by the OEM of the tool you are looking to fix. This has been develope as experience tells us that most companies dont list all their parts all of the time, so may have it in unclassified or in grey stock and can provide it even though they dont have it in their regular stock listings.
